Chief set up by investigators trying to boost their own careers

The brother of a Navy SEAL Officer alleged to have killed an injured ISIS prisoner of war in Iraq has accused those investigating the case of trying to advance their own careers.

Edward Gallagher is currently being held in a military prison in California amid accusations he repeatedly plunged a knife into the wounded body of a young ISIS fighter and fired sniper rounds at innocent civilians in Iraq.

Now his brother Sean Gallagher has criticized the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, saying they are trying to advance their own careers.

His remarks come as a military judge this week is preparing his recommendations on what charges Edward should face.

Edward Gallagher, is a married father-of-three and a highly lauded special warfare operator who has racked up numerous awards during his eight tours of duty.

Sean Gallagher told Fox and Friends: ‘This investigation is not about justice and the truth, it’s about a win.
